The Tech Prep Laboratory consists of the following components:

• Student workstations including hardware equipment and a computer
• Instructor computer
• Local area network (LAN)
• Server
• Computer Managed Laboratory (CML), which is a learning management system

There are 15 different training systems that form 5 subject groups:

• Renewable energy sources
• Basic technological systems
• Automation technology
• Material processing
• Electronics and communications
