Degem’s Science and Technology TP-2000 laboratory provides a hands-on introduction of modern technology to students in high schools and technical colleges. The aim of Science and Technology Education is to expose the student to the scientific and technological aspects of the human environment. It should also enhance initiative and creativity, helping students use these traits to plan their path toward definite goals on the basis of his or her knowledge and special acquired skills, while keeping their future career in mind.

The laboratory consists of a number of student workstations, which contain a didactic hardware console with built-in power supply and a computer interface, all the required accessories and a personal computer. The Windows-based courseware consists of theory, detailed experiment procedure, simulations and guided observations provide the ideal learning environment. The software that runs on the student computer emulates virtual instrumentation for convenient measurements without the added cost of additional equipment.

The unique integration of specially developed training hardware with courseware and student programming software provides an enhanced learning environment that allows students to achieve greater comprehension and higher competency in less time than with conventional training methods.
